Hide Folders App Mac
The first Mac with which you used the feature names the two folders simply Desktop and Documents. However, any subsequent Macs add the name of the Mac at the end of the Desktop and Documents. Apps that are marked with a blue check mark have permission to the service highlighted in the left pane of the window. If you don't see any apps here, it's because you have none that perform the selected service's function. If the apps and check boxes are greyed out, click on the padlock icon in the bottom, left corner of the window.

The main Applications folder should sit at the top level of the startup drive. DO NOT move it. if you did, move it back and repair permissions. If you want to install some applications locally just for one user make a separate Applications folder at the top level of your home directory and put them there.
In fact I'm surprised you were able to move the main Applications folder at all. In leopard it should be protected by a 'deny delete' ACL which is designed to prevent users from moving it.
