Top 5 PDF Bookmark Maker for Mac and Windows; Part 2. Top 5 Online PDF Bookmark Maker; Part 1. Top 5 PDF Bookmark Maker for Mac and Windows We will start with the world of windows and Mac devices (macOS 10.13 High Sierra included) and we will look at five PDF bookmark makers that stand a cut above the rest in this domain. GoodLinks is my go-to app for bookmarking and the fact it's available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac as a single app is just the icing on the cake. Today the app received a big update overnight and while it isn't big in the number of changes, it's bigger than big in the way it fixes one of the biggest irritations it caused.
The internet today has become an integral part of our daily lives. Every day, we come across several different websites and webpages through various sources. Some are sent to us by our friends or colleagues, some we find while spending time on Facebook or Twitter. It’s become nearly impossible to remember or recollect that one website that you visited several days ago. Most of us bookmark our frequently visited sites in our browser toolbar while some use services like Pinboard or even Pocket. I personally loved a visual approach to bookmarking, so instead of Pinboard, I loved services like Zootool and Kippt. Unfortunately, both these services have shut shop in recent months. Thankfully, Stache is here to save the day.
Bookmark App For Kindle Fire
Stache is a visual bookmarking app for your Mac, iPhone or iPad. The app makes it super easy to quickly bookmark a webpage and then re-discover it whenever you want to. Being a native app, Stache harnesses the power of your device to completely archive the website, which you can then search through, tag and explore. Stache crates a library full of beautiful, visual bookmarks in a neatly laid out grid that displays a screenshot, title and domain of the bookmark. Stache has full-content search — you can search using a single word in some obscure part of that website and Stache will still find it for you. On Mac, Stache will store a complete archive of the bookmark, meaning you have a readily available web archive and full-page screenshot of that bookmark that you can export just as easily. There’s nifty Quick Look integration too.
Bookmark App Mac Os
Stache offers browser extensions for Safari and Chrome, so you can bookmark without leaving the browser. I love how the app instantly shows you a Notification that the page has been bookmarked, while the archiving happens in the background. You can easily tag your bookmarks for better organization as well.
Stache supports iCloud sync so your bookmarks are (mostly) seamlessly synced across all your devices. Unfortunately, the bookmarks take a really long time to show up on the other devices. You can Import/Export your bookmarks too, so you can easily move to Stache from other services. I imported my bookmarks from Kippt and Stache gracefully handled the import. Stache also offers URL Scheme support and you can share your bookmarks to the usual places too.
Bookmark App For Mac Os
Mac Bookmarks Bar
Stache is a fantastic & solid app at 1.0 and already has a great start. If visual bookmarking is your thing, you’re gonna love Stache. The Mac app is currently running a launch-sale and is available on the Mac App Store for $6.99. The iOS app is Universal and available for $1.99.
